1
Do I need a visa to travel to Sri Lanka?
Yes, all travellers require a visa to enter Sri Lanka. It’s a simple process and can be completed online via the Sri Lankan ETA (Electronic Travel Authorisation) system. I’ll send you a reminder and step-by-step guide well before we travel.
2
Is travel insurance compulsory?
Absolutely. Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all guests — this includes coverage for medical emergencies, cancellations, and personal belongings. It’s peace of mind for you and ensures we're all protected while exploring together.
3
How many people will be on the tour?
Each Tea and Tusk journey is small and intimate — a maximum of 8 guests along with me and our tourguide and driver. This allows us to stay in boutique properties, travel at a gentler pace, and create a warm, connected group dynamic.
4
What kind of accommodation will we stay in?
You’ll stay in carefully chosen boutique hotels, villas, and lodges. Each one has been selected for its character, comfort, and connection to its surroundings. No two stays are the same, and that’s exactly the point.
5
How physically active is the tour?
You don’t need to be super fit, but a general level of mobility is required — we’ll be walking, climbing steps, and spending some time outdoors, especially during the safari. I always ensure there’s a balance of rest and adventure.
6
Can I come alone?
Absolutely. Solo travellers are warmly welcomed. Many of our guests travel solo and find the small-group setting ideal for both independence and connection. A single supplement is available if you'd prefer your own room.
7
What's included?
All accommodation, private pick and drop off at the airport, in-country transport with our wonderful local tour guide, breakfasts, most activities, and several special meals are included. You’ll receive a full inclusions list before booking, so everything is crystal clear.
